ADOPT ME! KITTENS AVAILABLE AT THE ANIMAL HOUSE ADOPTION CENTER
Posted in Business on September 5th, 2008.The Adoption Center at The Animal House currently has nine kittens, aged 8 to 16 weeks, available for adoption. The Animal House was chosen as a satellite location for the Humane Society of Knox County (HSKC) in February, and have adopted out twenty cat and kittens on their behalf since then. All cats adopted through The Animal House are subject to the same application process as one would go through at the Knox shelter, and all fees adoption fees go directly to HSKC.
The Animal House cares for, cleans and feeds all cats and kittens in their care while at The Adoption Center, at no cost to HSKC. The Animal House also offers 10% off an adopters purchases made at the time of adoption.
HSKC currently has over 100 cats at their Thomaston location, and to help with the overpopulation, The Animal House agreed to house more cats than usual. The HSKC adoption fee includes vaccinations, deworming and spay/neuter. The adoption fee for kittens under 6 months of age is $45 for a limited time.
Please visit the kittens at The Adoption Center at The Animal House, located at 372 Main Street in Damariscotta. For more information, please call The Animal House at 563.5595 or The Humane Society of Knox County at 594.2200.
