It’s Raining Men at Healthy Body, Fit Mind
South Portland, Maine – June 23, 2009 – For the next four weeks, the men will be seen gathering every Tuesday and Thursday night to whip themselves into shape at Boomer Boot Camp. It’s just one of the many new group exercise programs at Healthy Body, Fit Mind and this one is just for the boys.
Bob Cochrane, a highly skilled and motivated Personal Trainer at Healthy Body, Fit Mind is taking the helm and offering a workout program focused on improving cardiovascular capacity, increasing muscular strength, and weight loss. Each of the men spent the first session working through a battery of tests to measure their flexibility, muscular power, agility, speed, and aerobic and anaerobic capacities. At the end of the boot camp, the same fitness evaluation will be repeated in order to show each man how far he’s come in such a short period of time.
“I am very excited about the program and all of the guys are great sports,” says Bob. “Although each client is there for his own fitness, we have created a team atmosphere where everyone cheers and pushes each other on. It is truly exciting to watch and I know that all of the men will be floored when they see how much progress they have made after just four weeks.”
Don’t let the name fool you. The Boomer Boot Camp group includes men of all ages, in addition to boomers and active seniors. Each workout is a challenge, but Bob promises that they have their share of fun, too.
