FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
South Portland, Maine – October 21, 2009 – On Friday, October 30th, Healthy Body, Fit Mind will be opening its doors to honor the athletes, volunteers and local businesses that make the Maine Senior Games such a huge success.
Each year, the Maine Senior Games offers a wide variety of sporting events that adults over the age of 50 can continue to participate in and keep the thrill of competition going at any age. The athletes compete in a variety of activities, including softball, basketball, tennis, 5Ks, cycling, swimming, and a host of other sports, all sponsored by the Southern Maine Area Agency on Aging.
In order to give these phenomenal athletes the recognition they deserve, as well as the community volunteers and businesses that support them, Ainsworth, Thelin & Raftice is proud to be sponsoring the first annual Celebration of Athletes. Ainsworth, Thelin & Raftice is a general practice law firm located at 7 Ocean Street, South Portland. Its affiliate, Southern Maine Elder Law, provides comprehensive legal services in the areas of estate planning and elder law.
“Healthy Body, Fit Mind is extremely pleased to host this event on the 30th” says MaryAnn Molloy, owner of Healthy Body, Fit Mind. “We were fortunate enough to have had the opportunity to train some of the Maine Senior Games athletes so it’s only fitting that we celebrate the athletes and local businesses that make the Maine Senior Games possible right here in our studio at 85 E Street in South Portland.”
