Brunswick, MAINE (January 28, 2010) – Northeast Bank announces the hiring of Robert Staab as a new Senior Mortgage Loan Officer serving the Brunswick area.
Northeast Bank announced earlier this month that it has created 10 new positions to handle the increase in demand for mortgages, due in part to the expansion and extension of the Home Buyer Tax Credit program signed into effect recently for people buying homes from December 31, 2009 to June of 2010.
“Robert brings almost three decades of experience in lending and financial services with him to Northeast, making him a valuable source of information for our customers and other mortgage team members in the Brunswick market,” Says Marcel Blais, Senior Vice President & COO of Northeast Bank.
Staab holds a Bachelor of Science in Nautical Science from the Maine Maritime Academy and is an Affiliate of the Merry Meeting Board of Realtors. He also is a 4th Degree Knight in the Knights of Columbus and serves as President of the Downeast Region Porsche Club.
Staab resides in Gorham with his wife and two children.
