April 2010 Freeport, Maine author Tam Veilleux, is excited to announce her participation of her book “Begin At The End & End With A Prayer: A Novel Approach To Creating A Life You Love” in the international writing contest The Next Top Spiritual Author. The contest which consists of four various rounds, opened on March 29 and will continue for the next eight months. It culminates in late fall of 2010 with the winner receiving a contract to publish their book with Hampton Roads Publishing.
The Next Top Spiritual Author contest has over 2500 registered participants each with a book title and idea in place. For round one each contestant produced a video or audio pitch explaining their book concept to their audience. Following a five week voting period ending on May 3, the top 250 authors will pass through to round three where a book proposal and chapters will be produced for readers, the celebrity judging panel and Hampton Roads editors.
Ms. Veilleux’s non-denominational book takes the readers on a direct path of personal development. The two part book offers both fiction and non-fiction chapters. In “Part Won” of the story readers follow the story of Julie a down on her luck divorcee who goes from broke and bottomed out to living the life of her dreams. The twist of “Part Won” is that the reader literally begins at the end, with the culmination of Julie’s goal, and traverse backwards to the beginning of her troubles. Participants witness the tools and tricks Julie uses to change her thought patterns and effectively change her life course. “Part Too” of the book is a reference section that highlights the multiple theory, tips and techniques modeled in the fiction section of the book.
A voracious student of spirituality and personal development the author stated “I am passionate about helping people realize their personal potential. I want everyone to understand that their power lies in the constructs of their own thought patterns.”
