Ed Corley of Westbrook has been appointed Director of Development for Frannie Peabody Center, Maine’s largest HIV/AIDS service organization.
A development professional in New York City for over 15 years, he helped raise millions of dollars in the fight against HIV/AIDS and recognition of civil and LGBT rights as Associate Director of Development for the national organization Lambda Legal Defense and Director of Planned Giving/Major Gifts for Gay Men’s Health Crisis (GMHC), the world’s first HIV/AIDS service organization. In addition, he also served as Director of Donor Relations at Columbia University Law School during that school’s $125 million capital campaign.
More recently, he served as General Manager for the Revere Guest House, an historic luxury resort located in Provincetown, Ma. and featured on HGTV’s If Walls Could Talk, before he re-located to Maine earlier this year. In addition to his new role at FPC, he is also writer and creator of the literature and popular culture blog http://edgetsread.com.
Frannie Peabody Center provides prevention services for at-risk populations and direct services for people living with HIV/AIDS with offices in York and Cumberland counties.
