“The Top Gun advisory board and I were exceedingly pleased with the high caliber of applicants for this year’s program and all very excited to get underway,” stated Steve Bazinet, MCED Executive Director. “Combined we have over three dozen mentors committed to the program and service providers such as Bernstein Shur, Macdonald Page, Verrill Dana, Preti Flaherty, Berry Talbot Royer, Furman Gregory, Jensen Baird, Pierce Atwood, Eaton Peabody, Drummond Woodsum, Perkins Thompson and the Renaissance Executive Forums offering pro bono hours and sponsorship. In addition to these private sector resources, without the financial support of the Department of Economic and Community Development, Kepware, Pro Search, Small Enterprise Growth Fund, Spinnaker Trust, Gorham Savings Bank, CBRE/The Boulos Company and the Maine Small Business Development Center, these Top Gun participants would not enjoy the same level of benefit from the program that they enjoy today.”
