Manchester, Maine, August 28, 2010 – Designing Women, a non-profit volunteer corporation that works directly with organizations that benefit women and girls in local communities, will hold their only central Maine show this year at Longfellow’s Greenhouse, located at 81 Puddleduck Road in Manchester on Saturday, August 28, 2010 from 9:30am through 4:30pm.
Over twenty female artists and craftwomen will be in hand to display their high quality and beautifully handcrafted pottery, handbags, glasswork, handwoven clothing and accessories, home accents, stained glass, and sculptural ceramic art. Items will range in size and price. The suggested $2.00 door donation and all lunch/refreshment proceeds will be donated to Winthrop’s Sexual Assault Crisis and Support Center. Attending this show is a great way to support local artisans and benefit a wonderful community cause!
