Trask-Decow Machinery (www.trask-decrow.com) was recently honored by Efficiency Maine, receiving the award for Qualified Partner of the Year. Qualified Partners identify projects, collect and analyze data (related to energy consumption) and provide a description of costs associated with the purchase and installation of system changes and, most importantly energy savings analysis. Efficiency Maine Qualified Partners implement projects and supervise the installation. Efficiency Maine offers cash incentives and does the final inspection.
In the past year Trask-Decrow has completed 15 Custom Compressed Air system projects that have resulted in an energy savings of 1,588,949 kWH (kilowat hours). The kWHs saved is equal to the annual energy use of 150 homes in the state of Maine. Trask-Decrow has been working with efficiency Maine since 2004 and has been doing energy savings projects with Maine busineses since 1994. These projects have resulted in a total annual savings exceeding 45,000,000 kWH.
