Tilson announces the addition of at least 18 to 20 new tech jobs for 2011.
Portland, MAINE (January 24, 2011)—While unemployment remains a concern across the state, Tilson Technology Management is preparing to again increase its workforce with the addition of 18 to 20 new high-paying jobs with benefits.
Tilson, which nearly tripled its workforce during 2010, provides technology project management and implementation support across a broad spectrum of industry sectors, including bringing high-speed fiber optic and mobile internet access to rural Maine and Massachusetts, upgrading computer technology at libraries across the state, and providing information security services to various corporate and government clients. As a result of this growth, the company is looking to hire in Maine, Switzerland, and New York City, where they have satellite offices.

The new positions will be added over the next year in areas related to information technology and security, fiber optics, and wireless technology, with specific roles in job cost accounting, telecom construction management, site and right of way acquisition, and project management, to name a few.

In addition to growing its workforce, Tilson has experienced 140% growth in revenue from 2009 – 2010, and is projected to grow an additional 100+% during 2011.
