Portland, MAINE (May 3, 2011) — In a reflection of the company’s growth, Broadreach 
Public Relations has relocated its offices to the Portland waterfront from its previous location in Yarmouth.
The move to 19 Commercial St., nearly across from the Casco Bay Ferry Terminal, provides additional space for the company’s expanded workforce and convenient access for clients. Broadreach had been located in an office at the founder’s home, off Route 88 in Yarmouth, since it opened in 2006.
“The new space is not only more efficient. It also puts us in the heart of a creative community, where clients and business partners can visit us more frequently and easily,” said Linda Varrell, founder and president of Broadreach Public Relations. “I started the company in my home four years ago, but Broadreach just has outgrown the office space we had available there.”
Broadreach serves a wide range of clients in industries that 
include health care, retail, professional and financial services, tourism, construction, manufacturing and renewable energy. The company helps tell these clients’ stories through effective messaging, event planning, internal and external communications, media relations, crisis management services and many other public relations tools.
“Portland will be a great central location and jumping off point for us, since we work with clients from Sanford to Belfast, within Maine, and a growing number of companies in other states as well,” Varrell said. “Portland is a great location for doing business, and for enjoying the energy of a great city. Personally, I’m excited to be based in Portland; this is the first time I’ve actually worked in the city.”
