Portland, MAINE (May 27, 2011) – Broadreach Public Relations, a growing PR firm in Portland, has hired recent University of Maine graduate, Gabrielle Finger as a Media Relations Specialist.
In this newly created position, Gabrielle will be responsible for effectively carrying out operational and tactical initiatives through various media on behalf of clients. Gabrielle will actively participate in a program of work that includes both traditional and social media to increase visibility for Broadreach clients and the company.
“Telling a client’s story in the media takes significantly more work than just sending out a press release. Abby will be focused on all aspects of media relations including writing press releases, following up with media, responding to media requests and providing analytics and reporting for our clients,” said Linda Varrell, President of Broadreach Public Relations. “Abby has great people skills and the level of persistence that it takes to secure broader exposure for our clients, both locally and nationally.”

Gabrielle previously gained media relations experience as Broadreach’s student intern last summer. She is a graduate of University of Maine with a major in Communication and a minor in Business Administration. She currently resides in Poland.
