Westbrook, Maine (May 11, 2011) — John Meserve, M.D., of Kennebunk, has joined Mercy Westbrook Primary Care as the practice’s newest staff member, serving the Westbrook area community.
Dr. Meserve received his BA at Cornell College in Mt. Vernon, Iowa, and went on to earn 
his medical degree at the University of Vermont College Of Medicine. Meserve completed his family practice residency at St. Margaret Memorial Hospital in Pittsburg, Penn., and practiced family medicine throughout southern Maine for more than 15 years before moving to Millinocket Regional Hospital in 2005.
Meserve is certified in family practice and is a member of the American Academy of Physicians. He has also received training in basic life support, advanced cardiac life support and advanced trauma life support.
Located at 40 Park Road, near the Sappi mill, Mercy Westbrook Primary Care specializes in preventative and primary care for people of all ages. Mercy Westbrook also offer laboratory and radiology services and Express Care, which is available daily from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. to anyone in the area who is in need of non-emergency medical attention.
The Mercy Primary Care Network also has offices in Falmouth, Portland (Fore River and Baxter Boulevard), Gorham, Standish, West Falmouth, Windham and Yarmouth.
