Library Sundae will be held at the Falmouth Memorial Library, 5 Lunt Road, Falmouth, on Sunday, July 8, 2012 from 1 to 4pm. Everyone is invited to view antique cars (some giving rides) and chat with their owners, plus participate in People’s Choice Awards. In the past, vehicles dating back as far as 1908 have made an appearance, along with Ford Model T’s, Model A’s, a boat-tailed Rolls Royce from 1928, and a pair of Studebakers from the 1920’s. Fascinated visitors may also see “modern” cars like the 1956 Ford Sunliner or the 1956 Chevy Malibu SS in the lineup. Doc’s Banjo Band will be performing throughout the afternoon with a variety of old-time favorites. Face painting will be available for free. Tickets to rides in the antique cars and ice cream sundaes are $2.50 each. Rain or shine.
