Judi Hawkes Joins Mercy as Vice President of Physician Practices
PORTLAND, Maine (August 1, 2012) – Mercy Health System recently recruited Judi Hawkes for a top position. Hawkes will join Mercy’s senior management team as Vice President of Physician Practices.
In her new role, Hawkes will provide the operational and strategic leadership for Mercy’s 27 physician practices, which include nine primary care practices, four express care locations, and fourteen surgical and medical specialty practices.
A graduate of the University of Maine, Hawkes has twenty-seven years of experience in the healthcare field, and comes to Mercy from MaineGeneral Health in Augusta, where she served most recently the Vice President of Practice Management.

Hawkes and her husband, Richard, are longtime residents of Cumberland and have two grown children.
