The Big Top is up for the Three Rivers Kiwanis Annual Auction This Friday & Saturday

The auction will start this Friday, June 25th starting at 5:30pm and Saturday, June 26th starting 10:30am. The location of the annual auction is the parking area at the Milo Farmer’s Union in Milo. Don’t forget to check out the Yard Sale Tent starting on Friday at Noon, buy your 50/50 tickets, The Key Club Book Sale and the great food at the chuck wagon. The auction will be under a larger tent with lighting this year. The funds raised at the annual auction goes to support the many projects of the club such as Terrific Kids, Builders Club, Key Club, support the Boy & Girl Scouts, The Milo Art Center, just to name a few. The auction is set for Friday, June 25th and Saturday, June 26th. To arrange a pick up or drop off or for more information call Bobby at 943-2317 or 279-0481.

Are you doing some spring cleaning or down sizing. The members of the Three Rivers Kiwanis of Milo/Brownville are looking for items their annual auction which is the biggest fund raiser of the year. 11th Annual Auction to Benefit The Center for Grieving Children

Portland-The Center for Grieving Children’s 11th Annual Auction & Dinner Gala sponsored by Re/MAX By The Bay, Geneva Ventures and Spectrum Medical Group will be held Friday, February 1st at the Holiday Inn by the Bay. Doors open at 5:30 PM. A limited number of tickets are still available at $90 each. All proceeds raised at the benefit auction will be used to support the services provided by The Center – a place where children and families who are grieving the death or facing the serious illness of a family member or friend can turn to for support, community outreach, and education.

The Center is also sponsoring a raffle with the grand prize of a Trip for two to the 2009 Super Bowl in Tampa Florida. This once in a lifetime opportunity includes: two tickets to the game, airfare voucher, game transfers, 2 tickets to the NFL experience and 4 nights hotel accommodations. Only 350 tickets are being sold and are available for $100 each. Tickets are available on our website www.cgcmaine.org or by calling The Center at 775-5216.

The evening’s events begin with a Silent Auction and Cocktail Reception. The Silent Auction features over 100 items donated by local businesses and other supporters of The Center. This event is also a celebration of The Center’s 20th Anniversary and as part of this celebration we will hand out our first Bill Hemmen’s Founder Award.

Following the Silent Auction will be Dinner and the Live Auction with items that include a Kid’s Crooked House, a Condo in Miami for a week, and tickets to a Red Sox/Yankees Game.
