Brewer, ME HackName.com, a domain name hack community that offers news, blogging, forums, and a marketplace for buyers and sellers to interact.

Domain name hacks are a growing trend in the domain industry. Successes such as Blo.gs and Del.icio.us have really made this a fun and exciting business. More and more people are buying domain name hacks because they are a lot less expensive than .com’s and other TLD’s or CCTLD’s, but also to stand out from the crowd.

HackName.com brings buyers and sellers together using interactive forums, news, articles, and information pertaining to domain name hacks.

About Website

HackName.com was found on February 2011 as a community specialized for domain name hacks allowing members to ask questions, announce websites, post blogs, post news, post articles, sell domain names, buy domain names, and create topics in the site forums.

Portland, MAINE February 2, 2011) – ReVision Energy, Maine and New Hampshire’s leading installer of solar hot water and solar electric systems, announced today the success of its first month of “Check in for Charity,” a program that donates $1 to a local nonprofit each time someone “Checks in” on ReVision’s website or Facebook page, up to $500 a month. In January, the goal was surpassed with over 600 check-ins and ReVision will be sending a $500 donation to The Center for Wildlife, a wildlife rehabilitation facility in Southern Maine.

“It’s terrific to see people get engaged for a worthy cause,” says Fred Greenhalgh, ReVision’s Online Marketing Manager. “We wanted to see whether we could successfully leverage social media to support local nonprofits, and the answer has been a resounding ‘Yes.’”

For the month of February, visitors to ReVision’s website and Facebook page can “check in” to support WERU, listener supported community radio in Blue Hill, Maine. WERU was selected after they received over 200 votes of support through ReVision’s blog. Any nonprofit in Maine and New Hampshire can be nominated to be the selected charity by contacting ReVision Energy. Four finalists will be chosen from the nominees by ReVision staff and voting begins the middle of each month. ReVision plans to run the program for at least the remainder of 2011.

“We’ve had a strong response, and we strongly believe in being responsible stewards not only of the environment, but of the nonprofit organizations doing important work in our communities,” Greenhalgh continued.

“Check in for Charity” is the latest in a strong series of community giving programs by ReVision Energy. ReVision Energy pro-actively seeks connections with local nonprofits and has contributed to Maine Audubon, The Chewonki Foundation, the Nature Conservancy, Habitat for Humanity, Zero Waste Portsmouth, Citizens for a Green Camden, and The Boys and Girls Clubs of both Portland and South Portland. They also are members of numerous nonprofit green building trade organizations including the Maine Chapter of the US Green Building Council, New Hampshire Businesses for Social Responsibility, American Solar Energy Society, and the Environmental & Energy Technology Council of Maine.

About ReVision Energy

ReVision Energy is Maine and New Hampshire’s leading installer of grid-tied solar electric and solar hot water systems. They maintain an in-house team of engineers with degrees from MIT, Brown and Dartmouth, and a highly trainedeam of solar technicians, four of whom carry NABCEP certification, the gold standard in the solar industry.

Great Falls Construction, a Gorham, Maine based construction firm was recently
awarded the remodel of the Gorham Public Safety Building in order to increase space
for staff and students and to update the aging building. This building is located at 270
Main St in Gorham, Maine and is the home for the Police Department, Fire Department,
and EMT staff.

The Great Falls team added two full dormers to the building to increase storage and
EMT living space by 500 square feet in one section and the other dormer will remain
unfinished to create a future living space for the Fire Department.

Great Falls also updated the roof system from an old asphalt shingle system to a
standing seam metal roof system. The new roofing system will help reduce snow and
ice build-up, prevent leakage, and has a lifetime warranty.

Great Falls is currently repairing the porch columns and reinforcing the structural
integrity of the building at various locations. The remodel was started in November last
year and the team expects to have it completed sometime this month.

Great Falls Construction has been building and remodeling homes and commercial
properties in New England since 1988. If you have questions about how Great Falls
Construction can help you change the look of your commercial business or residential
home please call 207-839-2744 or visit www.greatfallsinc.com
