Leading Manufacturers license artwork from Next Day Art

Monday, May 5th, 2008

Portland, ME – Next Day Art, an art licensing and product ideation company located in Portland, Maine, has secured product licensing agreements with some of the largest and most recognized manufacturers of calendars, journals, gifts, puzzles and more.  With over 500 images under licensing agreement with manufacturers in just over 12 months, the company is in a great position to grow in 2008 and beyond.

According to James Meserve, president of Next Day Art, “Industry leading companies like Hasbro, MeadWestvaco, C.R. Gibson, Demdaco and more have licensed artwork from us over the last six months.”

In addition to the specific companies listed above, Next Day Art has negotiated licensing agreements with manufacturers of wall décor, mobile wallpaper, quilting and textile fabrics, greeting cards, collectibles, wallpaper, poster reproductions, serving trays, mugs, coasters and more.  Most of the products licensed through Next Day Art are scheduled to hit stores nationally and internationally in 2008 and 2009.

“We are very pleased, especially as a new company, with the reception we have garnered from the manufacturers and designers we work with”, commented Meserve.  “We operate under the slogan ‘Bringing Great Art to Life’ and hope to give artists another avenue to make money as well as the opportunity to share some of their beautiful works with a wider audience as they become interpreted onto various products.”   Continued Meserve, “It’s really fun and gratifying to see the products come to life and appear in stores.”

Companies that produce greeting cards, home accents, gifts, wall décor, home accents, textiles, collectibles, puzzles, calendars and more rely on Next Day Art to source and license art.   Next Day Art represents artists from Maine and the rest of the United States, as well as globally including Canada, Europe and Australia.
