VIVA Virtual Assistants Receives DBE Certification

Gorham, ME – The Maine Department of Transportation (MaineDOT) has recently certified VIVA-Virtually Indispensable Virtual Assistants, LLC, as a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE). The MaineDOT established the DBE program to “ensure a ‘level playing field’, and foster equal opportunity in US Department of Transportation-assisted contracts”.

The DBE certification is specific to small businesses which are at least 51% woman, minority or disadvantaged owned; and whose business provides a product or service necessary for MaineDOT’s Prime/Subcontractors and Consultants, in fulfilling their contract requirements in accordance with 49 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) Part 26.

Ivonne Vazquez, Principal of VIVA states, “This certification affords my company the opportunity to provide business support services to engineering, construction companies, consultants and others who work at the State and Municipal level on MaineDOT projects.”

Maine’s Spanish Bi-lingual/Bi-Cultural Virtual Assistant

Ivonne Vazquez, Principal of VIVA-Virtually Indispensable Virtual Assistants, LLC announces Maine’s Spanish bi-lingual/bi-cultural Virtual Assistant business. 

 

A virtual assistant is an experienced Executive or Administrative professional providing business support services, by contract, from their own location using the internet, other technologies and computer applications.  Virtual Assistants (or VA’s) perform daily, general administrative tasks that are necessary for any business to function efficiently.  Outsourcing to a virtual assistant saves employers money as they can be retained at a fraction of the cost of a full-time employee.
